Shotgun Blast Weber Jailer Dies In Ogden Shooting A Weber County jailer died early OGDEN (AP) Saturday from what Ogden police say was a close-rang- e shotgun blast to the head. Bryan C. Pickett, 22. Ogden, was found lying in the middle of a road on Monroe Avenue and Sullivan Road by an Ogden resident at approximately 1:30 a m. Weber County paramedics took Pickett to McKay-De- e Hospital where he was dead on arrival. Pickett was still alive when police arrived at the scene. Officers said they found him lying face up in the road. Six unused shotgun shells and a large hunting knife were found near his body. Randie Rivella. Ogden, told police he found Pickett in the road bleeding. He said he saw a hunting knife nearby and thought the victim had been stabbed. A friend of Pickett's said the two had been to a night club earlier in the evening where they shot pool and had a couple of drinks.
