A light sentence this morning judge zane trans transacted asted some business in the third district court the first was the sentencing of teresa M pearson convicted under mider the edmands Edmund bill of fornication ni attorney myle moyle addressed the court setting forth extenuating features of the case and asking a suspension of sentence judge zane remarked that no doubt defendant def be ing a poor working girt girl was entitled to some consideration on account of the temptations among which she was thrown he did not think it a good practice however to suspend sentence in such ases but in the present one would make the punishment light he then sentenced the defendant to pay a fine of 15 and costs to stand committed until the sum be paid
