The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is a fund raising method for all federal employees. The purpose of the campaign is to lessen the burdens of government and of fund-raisin- once-a-ye- g ar local communities in meeting needs of human health and welfare and to provide a convenient channel through which federal public servants may contribute to these efforts. Local federal employees contribute through the Northern Utah CFC which extends from Center Street in Farmington to the Idaho state line. This encompasses 24,000 people. ' Tixier said: The CFC held last fall raised $570,000 for 127 agencies. Most of this money is contributed through the payroll deduction method.
