While Mrs. Turner resides in Bountiful, she has been coming to West Bountiful for the last few years to paint the beautiful Bountiful mountains. Mrs. Turner first became interested in painting at a class at the University of Utah. Mrs. Turner feels her family has really helped her to become proficient in her art by helping around the home. Her husband Vernon is her promoter and bookkeeper. They have five e children. The primary style of her artwork is landscape with oil and some figures. Mrs. Turner said she has the most success with painting the hills of Bountiful at art shows or contests. Locally, Mrs. Turner has taken classes from Tony Rasmussen and Ken Baxter.
