Janet will sing a' She solo. is the TINGEY, ter SHERI HISLOP SANDRA GRAYSON for Miss Bountiful Area Title Young Women Compete BOUNTIFUL Friday, April 29, at Viewmont High School at 7:30 p.m., 11 young ladies from the Bountiful area will be competing for the title of Miss Bountiful Area. The girl crowned that evening will represent the six cities in the area in the Miss Utah pageant being held in June at Orem. For an evening of entertainment all area residents are invited to attend. The Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce presents the sixth annual Miss Bountiful Area Scholarship Pageant. The following girls are com KIMBERLY daugh- of Ron and Karen Alvey of Centerville. She recently returned from Nashville, Tenn., after completing a six months engagement with Opryland, USA. Miss Tingey is attending LDS Business College, and plans to attend Brigham Young University this fall. For talent she will present a musical variety. NEISHA GREEN, daughter of Robert and Uetla Green of Bountiful,, is a senior at Bountiful High School, where she is active in sports and dance. She plans to attend Utah State Un iversity. Neisha will present a dance routine for her talent. KIMBERLY GRAYSON, daughter of Sandra J. Hunt, attends Viewmont High School, and is completing her senior year. Miss Grayson is active in music THOMPSON, daughter Laur Fay Thompson of Bountiful, attends Bryman School for AUDREY of Travel Agents. Audrey will sing a solo for her talent. Blackburn and the City Council will listen to both opponents and proponents of a project to build a solid waste recovery plant to burn garbage from Davis County homes and produce salable energy. A group from Clearfield who oppose construction of the plant has asked for the opportunity to address the council. Mayor Blackburn will also ask that the Wasatch Front Regional Council be represented in order to hear the arguments of those who favor the plant. Each group will be allowed 20 minutes to present their views. It is anticipated that the topic will be placed on the regularly scheduled City Council meeting agenda for discussion at ately 7:30p.m. Councilman Dennis R. reported that the bids are out and due in on a well at 50 East. Construction of a booster pump on 1825 North and 200 East to increase capability of providing water to the north end of the city will begin in June, and the new telemetering systern is progressing as planned, office building and post office.
