A CT"cv . The musical, which will be performed March 25, 26, and 28 , . ; in the Viewmont High au ditorium at 7:30 p.m., concerns Fanny Brice, who was queen of the Ziegfeld Follies in the 1920s. ' A comedian and Jewish girl from New York, Fanny was torn between her love for Nick Arnstein, and her devotion to the stage. Her life was one of triumphs and heartbreaks and stunning performances on the stage. ; Once Upon A Mattress, Annie Get Your Gun, and The Odd Couple are just three of the eight productions Miss Elkington has performed at Viewmont. She is a senior this year and she is a member of Concert Choir and Madrigals. Wheadon, a sophomore, plays the role of Nick, Fannys husband who both captures and breaks her heart. Wheadon comes from a musical family-the- y all sing and play instruments, and he has sung solos, and is in the Junior Choir at Viewmont. Tickets will be sold at the door for $2.50 for adults, $1.50 for students, $8 for families, and from cast members in advance for $2, $1, and $6.
