Hope you're ready because here we go, like it or not. Now I've been attending SUSC for going on five years, and I've noticed that the most asked question on campus isn't who lives in the president's house, or what are the snackbar's hours, but, what is there to do around here? Well, Ill forgive the newcomers, but when hear the oldtimers griping about nothing to do, have to ask myself, where has this person been? Sitting at home perfecting couch potato skills? There's all kinds of things to do in town and around the southern end of the state. But for those of you who are insistent that there is nothing to do, pay attention because I'm going to give you the lowdown. The school almost always has something going, plays, dances, sports events, club activities, (you know, school stuff). But don't write this town off as being asleep, because with a little motivation and my help you can keep yourself busy. If you're an avid arcade goer, or dance fancier, you'll be pleased to hear of the new Warehouse Top 40 entertainment center, located at 221 N. 100 W. It was an old warehouse that's been renovated into an arcade and dance hall. The owner tells me it's the biggest arcade between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, with all the latest video games plus the old favorites. There are two snack bars, a movie theater with a big screen tv that plays MTV and cable channels. There's a 1,000 foot dance floor that comes to life with the computerized lighting system. The D.J. sits in a elevated '57 Chevy. The hours are 11 a.m. 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Admission to the dance is $3.
