Our thanks .to each and every one who participated from Mrs. Harold Rushton, chairman, of the Artistic Designers and members of her committee, Mrs. D. G. Coleman, hostess chairman, is a member of the Flora Culture Garden Club. In charge of the program were Harold Rushton, president, and Charles Purchase, of the Wasatch Mens Garden Club. Staging the flower show were Mrs. Merrill Johnson, Mrs. Lloyd Magar and Mrs. Glenn Stewart, of Artistic Designers. SPEAKERS included members of the Dahlia Society, Utah Rose Society, Beehive State Chrysanthemum Society, Utah Gladjo-lu- s Society, Utah Association of Nurserymen and many others. A special thanks to the Utah Orchid Society for its very beautiful display, a first in the Festival and to all the clubs who entered the exhibition.Mr. and Mrs. Jay Steadman were in charge of these displays. A The outdoor gardens were by the Salt Lake City Parks Department and the State of Utah and were outstanding and much admired by the thousands who attended the Festival. Assisting in landscaping the exhibition was the Central Landscaping with Mrs. Leon Frehner in charge.
