Ralph who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Whitesides is attending Oregon State University. He hopes to graduate with a doctorate degree in agronomy. His special field of study is the control of bindweed or mornWhile Mr. and Mrs. Whitesides were in Covalis, they helped their son paint his house and enjoyed traveling and sightseeing Four Layton couples returned last week from a ten day tour of the Caribbean Sea. The four couples were Mr. and Mrs. Kay Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Elwm Roberts, Mr. and Mrs Quintas Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Halls. The tour was sponsored by the Utah State Board of Realtors. The tour group flew from Salt Lake City to Miami, Florida w here they boarded a ship that would be their home for eight days The ship sailed at night stopping at various Caribbean Islands during the day. Guided tours of the islands included San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Johns in the Virgin Island group and St. Martin was the main highlight of the tour.
