Hansen visits folks Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leo in Logan Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Sherma Earl. by FI MunMa Major Scott Hansen of Seattle spent Saturday and Sunday visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Wynn Hansen. Major Hansen accompanied a group of Air Force cadets of the University of Washington to Hill AFB for a Earl Weekend Visiting Spending the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Milton Scott and family were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Price and five children of Pocatello. The two ladies are sisters. Sunday they were joined by the ladies parents Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Lusk of Malad and enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Baugh and family in Sunset, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Reinhold of Ogden were also dinner guests. The occasion was Mrs. Price and Mrs. Baughs special indoctrination course sponsored by the Air Force ROTC. r Also spending Sunday at the Wynn Hansen home was Major Hansen's daughter Vicki who is enrolled at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Doris Smith joined Mrs. Mary Adams of Tremonton, a Mrs. Joyce Cornwall, Mrs. Richins, Mrs. Winona Gar- dner of Riverside at the home of Mrs. Doris Roche Friday evening for a luncheon and social. Dan Scott who has been taking a language course in Provo prior to leaving for an LDS Mission in Toyko spent a few days of last week with his parents. Dan had more tests at the University Medical center in Salt Lake City the forepart of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Richards visited Mr. and Mrs. Gary Loveland and family and Mrs. Joyce Checketts in Brigham City during the week. They also enjoyed visiting Mrs. Checketts houseguests Mrs. Connie Sorenson and son Shawn of Phoenix. Lu-an- Wedding Reception Mr. and Mrs. Verl Udy accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Pharon Apgood of Salt Lake City attended the wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Pam Apgood) Smith held in the Clarkston cultural hall Friday evening. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delwyn Apgood of Clarkston. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Anaconda, Mont. Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Burton were Sterand sister lings brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Harold Layton of Layton. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs,, Ernest Anger Saturday were Robert Anger, Dana Simmons of Salt Lake City, Christopher Anger of Bountiful. -- birthday anniversaries. Mrs. Gordon Jensen of Brig- ham City spent Thursday visiting her mother Mrs. Donetta Petersen. Mr. and Mrs. Rosel Zundel spent Tuesday in Salt Lake City. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Dale Valdez and family. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Nish Zundel and family in Bountiful. Visiting Mrs. Mildred Smith during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Harper of Elba, Idaho. Mrs. Jim Gam and children Jenny, Jared and Tabitha have spent several days during the week visiting Mrs. Gams mother Mrs. Rodney Wright and family in Richmond. Saturday visitors of Mrs. Alene Sutherland were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Sutherland and family of Ogden. Attending the viewing for Owen Cheney, former resident of East Garland, held in the Larkin mortuary in Salt Lake City Friday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Gale Welling. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Oyler of East Garland. Visiting Mrs. Helen Jensen Sunday was her daughter Mrs. Lois Smith and daughters Susan and Jill of Ogden. w - Spending Saturday evening visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and family were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Kimber and son Paul f Ogden. Visit Sister Mrs. Sara Moss accompanied by her sister Mrs. Ardell Thomas of Bethesda, Md., have been spending a good share of their time the past week visiting their sister Mrs. Vadis Gilgen of Malad who is receiving therapy at the McKay hospital in Ogden. Gale Welling accompanied by Jack Garrett of Tremonton attended the state bowling tournament held in Layton Saturday. Saturday Mrs.' Rhoda Welling, Mrs. Madge Anderson, Mrs. Lucille Potter accompanied by Mrs. Malinda Hess of Riverside, Mrs. Coleen Laws of Bothwell and Mrs. Verna Hyde of Tremonton attended the state bowling tournament held at the Bountiful bowling center. Darryl Adams who has been hospitalized the past seven months is now enrolled at Bear River High school to complete his senior year and is reported to be doing well. Darryl has plenty of determination and courage and his many friends wish him good luck. Spending the weekend as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lewis and family in Idaho Falls were Mr. and Mrs. David Scott and daughter Annette and son Daren. Among those attending the viewing for Theron (Sid) Farnsworth held in the Olsen-Fe- lt mortuary in Brigham City Wednesday evening were his mother Mrs. Ruby Farnsworth, his sister Mrs. Irene Peck,' Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Richards and Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mason. Attending the funeral on Thursday in the North stake center in Brigham City were Mrs. Ruby Farnsworth, Mrs. Irene Peck and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rudd and daughter Susan. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Alene Sutherland were Mr. and Mrs. Glade Sutherland and family of Logan. special Bicentennial program Is agenda featuring former members and present members of the ward. Circle March 30 on your calendar and plan to spend a fun evening at the ward building. The annual Relief society birthday party will be held March 16 at 10 a.m. A program will feature the Singing Mothers. The guest speaker will be Mrs. Vida Heaten of Logan. President James White has now received word from the LDS church office in Salt Lake City it is permissable to have photos of missionaries leaving to fulfill LDS missions along with an article in local newspapers. Cross in the Lindquist Mortuary in Ogden Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Dent Mason of Ogden visited Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mason Saturday evening. Deepest sympathy is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Bud (Elite) Askie of Harper Ward, former residents of Fielding in the death of their infant daughter born Mar. 3 in the Cooley hospital in Brigham City, Visiting Mrs. Askie in the hospital during the week were Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mason and Mrs. Flo Munson. Mr. and Mrs. Mason also attended the funeral services held in Rogers mortuary in Tremonton Monday. The baby was named JoLee LaRose Askie. on the 458-37- Ward Banquet A ward banquet for Primary age children will be held at the ward building Friday at 3 p.m. Following dinner a short movie will be shown. All children are urged to attend. The Fielding ward homecoming for former and present members is slated for March 20. Servings will begin at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. promptly. A water, Jolene Scott, Valene Scott and Jana Dee Adams attended the FHA convention held in the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City Friday and Saturday. They were accompanied by Mrs. B&rbara Capener, Mrs. RaNae Hortin and Mrs. Ann Lineberry as chaperones. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Owen and daughters Geniece and Nancy spent Sunday afternoon visiting Earls grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Herman Thompson in Clarkston. See Hockey Game Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gam attended a hockey game in Ogden Saturday with the Ogden team vs. Idaho Falls team. Their grandson Troy Garn of Idaho Falls was one of the participants. Saturday evening they visited Mrs. Nancy McCulloch and family in Sunset. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gam were their and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Gam and son Troy and daughters Cherise and Talace of Idaho Falls. Saturday evening Mrs. Adams accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hedrick of Perry to Smithfield where they enjoyed a dinner party along with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gordon of Smithfield. The occasion was the Gordon's 56th wedding anniversary. Later the group returned to the Gordon home for a social. The small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Kent was blessed by her father in sacrament meeting Sunday and given the name of Kathryn Marie Kent. Following the meeting a family dinner party was held at the son-in-la- w home of Mr. and Mrs. Kent.
