Local residents are invited to an afternoon of games preceded by a salad luncheon, with all the proceeds to be donated by the host Newcomers Club to the' Brigham City Police Department and the Heritage Theatre. The event is the clubs annual Bridge Benefit luncheon, slated lor Wednesday, March 17, at the Community Center at 12 noon. It is planned with a schedule that will make it possible for persons working In the community to attend the luncheon, even if ' the local public library as a result of its benefit projects, and this year the club hopes to duplicate this in presentations to both the Police Department and the Heritage Theatre. Tickets for the event are available from any member of the Newcomers Club, or may be purchased by contacting ticket chairmen Martha Burkholder at 7237210 or Janice G rends at 7237150.
