The Tremonton Bridge club met with Mrs. Pearl Casey as hostess Friday evening. Special guests were Mrs. Valeria Getz and Mrs. Doria Abbott. Prizes went to Mrs. Susan Taylor and Mrs. Doris Abbott. A delicious dessert was enjoyed. Mrs. Rees Baty returned home Sunday after spending a week in San Francisco visiting her and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Rose and family. Her husband met her at the Salt Lake airport. Last Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. A.N. Rytting attended a bridal shower for their granddaughter Kellie Jones of Mesa held at the home of Mrs. Ruth Kunkel in Salt Lake City. Other attending were Dr. and Mrs. Owen J. Jones and family of Mesa, Dr. and Mrs. Lorry Rytting and family of Salt Lake City and Brent Rytting of Fort Collins, Colo. Kellie was the recipient of lovely gifts. Tuesday morning the entire group met at the airport in Salt Lake City to give best wishes to Elder David Jones, son of Dr. and Mrs. Owen J. Jones who left by plane for New York City to fulfill an LDS mission in Spanish speaking. son-in-la- Temple Session President and Mrs. Gerald Simmons, President and Mrs. Richard Harris, President and Mrs. Ward Taylor, Repre-iden- t and Mrs. James White and President and Mrs. Ray Sorenson were invited by the Regional Representative Walter D. Bowen to attend a session at the Provo Temple last week afterwhich they attended a special dinner at the temple. The guest speaker was Presi- dent Howard Clark. William J. Holt of Spanish Fork is spending a few days and dauvisiting his ghter Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Markham and family. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Jones and family were Mrs. Jones parents Mr. and Mrs. Jay Babcock of Tooele. Enjoying SunGay dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Don Packer and family in West Jordon were Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Packer. A fireside was held in the Relief society room at the Tremonton Stake center Sunday evening for the Elders quoram of the Tremonton Sixth Ward and their partners. Patriarch Milton Johnson was the guest speaker and talked on receving patriarchal blessings. The fireside was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Don Johnston. Light refreshments were served. son-in-la- Birthday Party Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Miller entertained at a dinner party at their home Sunday for their daughter Cheryl, a student at Weber State college in Ogden. The occasion was Cheryls birthday anniversary. Other guests were D.L. of Ogden, Mrs. Kathy Wood, Mrs. Diane Doutre and children Wendy, Scott and Brian, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Miller, Roger Miller and the Millers foster son Patrick. Cheryl was presented with many nice gifts. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Arch Showell Saturday and enjoying dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Holley of American Fork and their daughter Mrs. Paul Michaelson and two children who have just returned from Germany. Mrs. Michaelson and her husband and family have been living in Germany the past two years while Paul was serving with the Armed Forces. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Corliss have returned to their home in Yucaipa, Calif., after spending two weeks visiting Mr. and rs. M.P. Christensen and other friends. Last Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Clifton G.M. Kerr, Dr. and Mrs. Duane Kerr joined Mr. and Mrs. Rolfe Kerr, Mr. and Mrs. John Kerr, Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Kerr of Logan for golfing at Sherwood Hills in Sardine canyon afterwhich they enjoyed a family dinner party. The occasion was the wedding anniversaries of Mr. and Mrs. Rolfe Kerr, Mr. and Mrs. John Kerr and Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Kerr who were all married in September. Fi-fie- Reno Vacation Mr. and Mrs. Garland Puzey have returned after spending an enjoyable week vacation in Reno visiting their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Bill Puzey and family. The Tremonton Literary club met at the home of Mrs. Mildred Harris Tuesday evening. Mrs. Ruth Shumway gave an interesting review of Arthur Hailey's bok entitled The Money Cha- ngers. Mrs. Blanche Smith, of Mrs. Ruth Manning was a special guest. Mrs. Getz was honored and presented with a gift. She is now on the faculty at North Park Elementary school. A lovely outside dinner was served afterwhich inside games were played with prizes given. The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Payne was blessed by his father in Tremonton Sixth Ward Sacrament meeting Sunday and given the name of Clint Payne. A dinner party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Payne immediately following the meeting. The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Holland was blessed in the Tremonton Sixth Ward Sacrament meeting Sunday by his father and given the name of Joseph Tyler Holland. Following the meeting a dinner party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Holland. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Reed Dezzant and family, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cluff, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ivers of Midway, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Holland and family of Taylorsville, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Holland and daughter Marie, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Holland and family, Mrs. Eliza Holland and Mrs. Grace Brough of Tremonton. A serial followed. Mayor and Mis Max Mason and daughtei acque spent Sunday in Rexburg visiting their daughter Kathy who is enrolled at R"ks college. Mr. and M s. Clifton Kerr and Mrs. Isabel Walton hosted a party at the Kerr Cabin in Logan Canyon Saturday evening for members of VGF Club and their partners. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kerr, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Showell, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Calderwood, Mr. and Mrs. M.P. Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sandall, Mr. and Mrs. Larain Marble. A delicious dinner was served and a social enjoyed.
