Mrs. Belle Wood was a special guest. Prizes went to Mrs. Dessie Campbell, Mrs. Fern Huish and Mrs. Lena Hall, a dainty luncheon was enjoyed. ? Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bari and daughter Angela of Clinton arranged for a dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ashby last week on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. : guests included Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Ravsten of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ashby of Fielding. Following dinner the evening was spent e looking at family movies. Mr. and Mrs. Ashby were presented with a lovely decorated cake. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bow-cu- tt attended Sacrament meeting in the Bothwell chapel Sunday where the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Burnhope was blessed by his father and given the name of Roger Frank Burn-hop- Roselin Draper of Garland. A lovely dinner was enjoyed and a social enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jensen spent Saturday visting Rex Jensens father M.V. Jensen in Shelley. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jensen were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jensen and children Tara and Troy of Family Dinner Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Oyler, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Oyler, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Shaffer attended a family dinner party at the home of Mrs. Mabel Oyler in Tremonton Saturday evening. The occasion was Mrs. Oylers 84th birthdy anniversary. They were joined by other family members. Visiting Mrs. Lucetta Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bishop during the week were Wayne Boss of Boulder, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Thompson of Layton, Barbara Thompson of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Bishop and family of Kaysville. Mrs. Floyd Hill of Ogden spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hodges. Sunday they enjoyed pinenut gathering at Cleark Creek. They wre accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Bob Richardson and family of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rose and family of Garland. Bill Bishop and son Jeffrey attended the football game with USU vs. San Diego in Logan Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Richard White and family of Twin Falls recently visited Mrs. Nan Bowcutt They also visted Mrs. Faye White in Tremonton. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hall Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dorius and three sons of Kaysville. Medical Care returned home Sunday after receiving care at the McKay hospital in Ogden. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Udell Hodge of Ogden visited at the A.R. Hodge home. Monday visitors were Mrs. Dorothy Parkinson and daughter Kathleen of Rexburg. Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Earl Valentine of Granger and Faye Douglas of Brigham City visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marriott. Price support loans raise to 7.5 percent The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the interest rate on price support commodity loans and storage facility and drying equipment loans will be increased from 6.125 to 7.5 percent per annum, effective Oct. 1. The change reflects the increased cost to the Commodity Credit Corporation of borrowing money. The new rate will apply to outstanding loans on which applications were received on or after Oct. 1, 1975, and to new loans disbursed on and after Oct. 1. The adjusted interest rate on outstanding loans is in accordance with policy announced last Oct. 1.
