In charge of the evenings entertainment were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Udy, Mr. and Mrs. Orvin Pierson and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Troseth. Ten y couples attended and report having a pleasant evening. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce King and children Meb, David and Sabrina left Wednesday for their home in Wichita Falls, Texas after spending the past three weeks visiting Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Coombs and family, Mr. and Mrs. Karl King and family and other relatives in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Pam Kent) Mellon spent Monday and Tuesday in Salt Lake City. Monday evening they enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Balsom Embers. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kent and daughter Colleen, Mrs. Sara Moss accompanied by Mrs. Myrna Kent of Tremonton and Miss Mary Jane Moss of Salt Lake City joined them at the airport r where Bill left for a US with the Army assignment two-yea- in Germany. will remain with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kent until Bill makes arrangements for a place for them to live. Bill Pam had a two-da- y stop in Philadelphia where he was a houseguest of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Suzi Thomas) Everton and family. Spending Thursday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Keith Moss was their daughter Miss Mary Moss of Salt Lake City. Jane Dinner Party Thursday Mrs. Madge Anderson and Mrs. Lori Anderson joined Patriarch and Mrs. Leo Earl, Mrs. Connie Sorenson and Mrs. Shelley Barber for a dinner party at the Juniper Inn near Smithfield. Miss Betty Petersen and two lady friends from Brigham Young university in Provo visited Mrs. Donetta Petersen to a vacation in Yellowstone park. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thomas left last week for their home in Betheda, Md after spending the summer months in Malad. They also spent sometime visiting Mrs. Thomass sisters Mrs. Keith Moss and Mrs. Dan Kent and families in Fielding. Wednesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and so former Robyn Spidell Kimber and family in Ogden. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and children accompanied Mrs. Jana Lynn Able and small daughter Monica Rae to the Salt Lake airport where they left by plane for their home in North Stoningto, Conn. Jana Lynns husband, Randy has been on submarine duty the past three months. Jana Lynn and daughter have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and family and Randys parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy Able and family in Garland. Troy and Chris Church of Boise have been spending the past week visiting their grandmother Mrs. Mildred Smith. Hyrum Godfrey returned from the Logan hospital Tuesday. He was accompanied home by his nephew Theron Godfrey of Logan. Enjoying lunch with Mrs. Pearl Hoopes in Benson Ward Friday were Mrs. Tess Hess and children Tony, Elone, San and Todd. The occasion was Mrs. Hoopes birthday anniver- sary. Overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anger Wednesday were Mrs. Florene Simmons and daughters Darene and Dana of Salt Lake City. Thursday Mrs. Anger held a quilting party at her home. In addition to Mrs. Simmons and two daughters were Mrs. Linda Westley and daughters Marla and Michelle of Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Kimber and son of Ogden visited at the home of Mrs. Kimbers parents Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and family Saturday. Marian Egbert of Salt Lake City has spent the past week visiting her aunt Mrs. Judy Smith and family. Terry Smith returned home Friday evening after having spent a week in Georgia on a special assignment from Hill AFB. Darryl Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Adams who was critically injured in a truck accident at Beaver Mountain, Aug. 10 has been removed from the intensive care unit in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. He remains in serious condition. His parents have been with him almost constantly since the accident. His sister Jana Dee and his brother Douglas have also visited with him at the hospital. His many friends extend best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.
