Harris Mrs. Ethel Hall received that her word four-year-ol- d graddaughter, Barbara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hall of Boise, Idaho, still remains unconscious after she was struck by a car three weeks ago. Mrs. Hall and other relatives have been to Boise to see the child. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Roderick and daughter, Camie were met at the Salt Lake airport by Bruces parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roderick and his brother Bary Aug. 31 as they arrived from Germany to make their home in Portage. Bruce, on being released from the Army two and one-hayears ago accepted a government position and remained in Germany until now. His wife, the former Sonja Uhrig is seeing the United States for the first time. Bruce is employed at Hill Air Force Base. They are living in the house formerly owned by Bruces late grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Roderick. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Hall were Mr. and Mrs. Duggan Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Slater of Ogden. Noel Gibbs of Perry came Thursday to get his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David P. Gibbs and took them to his home for a few days visit. From there they went to the home of their and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Nelson of Mantua and visited until Sunday when Mr. and Mrs. Nelson brought them to their home. Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Hoskins visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Hoskins of Malad Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Herald Jenkins Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Moyle Knudsen have gone to California to spend the winter months. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Morris spent Friday at Jackson Hole, Wyo., the occasion being the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Morris. Mrs. Thelma D. Gibbs visited with her son Richard of American Fork Friday. She was the overnight guest of her brother-in-laand sister, Mr. and Mrs. A.R. The house isn't completely finished yet but they hope to see completion before winter. Mrs. Larry Allen received word of the death of her grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Call, age 83 of Malad. She passed away Saturday. Sixty-tw- o members of the family of Esther John and the late Noah James John, met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. Wynn John Saturday and enjoyed a reunion. A potluck dinner was served and interesting program was presented by various family members. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Fillmore of Brigham City were guests of Wade H. Hyde . missionary . . Homecoming set for Idaho Fair Among those who attended the Idaho State fair at Blackfoot were Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Gibbs and family, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Clark and Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Gibbs.' Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tasman Gibbs of Moreland and returned home Sunday. Leona John who is teaching school in Salt Lake City, Marlene and Peggy Sue John who are employed in Logan spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Wynn John. VarC Flint was in Ogden Friday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Thomas returned Saturday from a vacation trip to San Francisco, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gleed and Kay Williams of Malad visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Devere Harris enjoyed a vacation trip to Lake Powell Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hoskins were overnight guests of their son and daughter-in-law- , Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hoskins and family of West Point. Wednesday they visited in Ogden with other family members, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hoskins and family in Roy with Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Hoskins and family. Returns Home Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs Allen took their grandson Jeffrey Larson to his home in Enterprise, Ore. after several weeks visit here. They visited for several days with Jeffreys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Larson and family and in Walla Walla, Wash, with Mrs. Allens mother, Mrs. Mae and Mrs. Allens Pieper brother-in-laand sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Reger and family. They returned Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ora H. John went to Ogden Saturday where they visited at the McKay hospital with Mrs. John's brother, Arnold Hall of Brigham City who is recovering following surgery. They also visited with Mrs. Cora McCrary and son Vance. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Patcyk, Mr. and Mrs. John Patcyk and friends of Brigham City and Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Hess and six children of East Garland were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Loren John and family. missionary A homecoming testimonial for Elder Wade H. Hyde will be held Sunday, Sept. 16, in the Brigham City First LDS ward. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and friends and relatives of Elder Hyde who recently returned from the Oklahoma mission, are invited to attend. While in the mission field, Elder Hyde served in Midwest City, Enid, Ada, Tulsa, and McAllister. He served also as financial secretary and fleet coordinator for cars used in the mission and mission secretary. Elder Hyde is a graduate of Box Elder High school where he was active in dramatics. He plans to enroll at Weber State college later this month. He is a son of Sheriff and Mrs. Warren W. Hyde of Brigham City. Bank official attends FLBA meeting A three-dameeting for managers, assistant managers, and field representatives of the 34 Federal Land Bank associations is being held Sept. at the Bay Bridge Holiday Inn at Emeryville, Calif. Keith H. Anderson, local FLBA manager, is attending the conference.
