Show I I Plans museum upstairs BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah 1973 Thursday, September 13, Tremonton board moves on center The Tremonton Community Planning and Development board has made its initial move to portion out space in the community center (formerly McKinley school). The board, comprised of representatives from 14 church and civic organizations, took the action Tuesday night. This follows up a charge from the city council which has placed administration of the center in the boards hands for one years. They ruled that the Lions club, teen club, senior citizens and little league baseball will have use of the room. In addition, eacn will have other space in the building. Mrs. Have Access On Wednesday evening, square dancers will have access to the building with roller skating as part of the community school program each Thursday. The teens will take over on Saturday for their activities. The board agreed that eight rooms upstairs will be developed as the Golden Spike museum. New equipment is needed for the kitchen and when installed, that facility will be LaRene Napoli, secretary-treasure- of the planning board, was named center administrator. She along with board President Mrs. Jack Shumway and Vice President Merrill Johnson will act on minor decisions involving the center. Matters of greater importance will be brought to the entire board's attention. The panel agreed to meet again on Sept. 24 to further map out plans for the upstairs museum. Those employed for the year included the following: Ronald Wolff, history teacher and wrestling coach. Box Elder High school; Diane P. Each was said to have a rodent population and all but Honeyville were said to be a source of pollution. None reflected regular maintenance. The report indicated too that other open dumps exist in the western part of the county. After an anlysis of the Box Elder county solid waste management program, it is evident that the chief problems of the present system lie in a lack of planning by well trained and knowledgeable managing personnel. It appears that the present practice is to give the duties of solid waste disposal week.
