The students are: Michelle Trush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Trush, Brigham City, who was honored for superiority in power reading, and was also placed on the scholastic honor roll for achieving a 4.00 grade point average. Darwin Earl Bingham, son of Earl Bigham, Honeyville, was placed on the scholastic honor roll for achieving a 3.43 grade point average. William Wagner, son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Wagner, Sr., 1033 Grandview Road, was for honored outstanding achievement in accounting, and was also placed on the scholastic honor roll for achieving a 4.00 grade point , average. Police Patrolman Art Redding said the accident happened at about 3 p.m. when a car belonging to Reese and Dorothy Marble, 329 South Fifth West, was left in neutral and rolled into another sedan. The other car is owned by I.W. Hallman, Tucson. Damage to the Hallman car was $175 and loss to the Marble vehicle was $35. Two local teachers are members of the Utah Council for Improvements of Education this year, it was announced in a news release from the council this week. A. Following the presentation, the three employers were honored guests at an informal social at the health .center. Twenty years of government service for Roma L. Mathis, administrative assistant, cludes a clerk-sten- o August, 1946 to May in- position 1948 in the secret intelligence branch, General Macarthin-s in Tokyo, Japan. She returned home to com- headquarters plete her college education. From January 1954 to Decemter 1955 she was clerk-sten- o for the Bureau of Indian Affairs In termountain school. She began her service at the school health center as a clerk-sten- o in October 1956. She and her husband, Robert S. Mathis, a teacher at Intermountain school, reside at 390 Fishburn drive. They have a son fulfilling a LDS church mission and two daughters attending Box Elder High school. From Montana Thomas First Raised came to Brigham City from Montana in September 1957 and started his 20 years of government service as an employee of the Bureau of Indian Affiars Intermountain school. He served in the guidance department until he transferred as motor vehicle operator to the school health center in August 1970. He is a registered emergency medical technician, having successfully completed several L. training course in emergency medical care. He is a member of the Billings Area Equal Employment Opportunity advisory committee and also serves as the safety officer at the health center. He and his wife, Emma Jean, at Intermountain a clerk-typischool, live at 742 West Seventh South. They have a daughter attending the University of Utah and a son and daughter at Box Elder High school. Was Staff Nurse Ethel L. Markeson, supervisory clincial nurse, began her ten years of government service as a staff nurse at the school health center in June 1962. A native of Minnesota,' Mrs. Markeson They live at 440 Parkinson drive. Her husband, Robert, is an engineer at Thiokol Chemical corporation. They have three sons, one in medical school in Minnesota, one at the University of Utah and one a senior at Box Elder High school.
