Grandparent honors are being shared by Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Andreason, Mrs. Beth Sherratt and Don Baird, all of Brigham City. cene Sarah Yates, Society Editor Phone 723-385- 3 Home Rite Weds Pair War Service Born Feb. 14, 1897, to William Henry and Nettie Rosenbaum Glover, Mr. Glover attended the University of Utah one year and then joined the armed forces and served during World War I before his marriage. He is a charter member of American Legion Post 10 and served a term as post commander. After leaving military service in 1919 he was emplyed by First Security bank as a teller and bookkeeper. He has represented Beneficial Life Insurance company for the past 47 years and is a member of the Beneficial Multi-Millionai- club. He is an active high priest in the LDS church and for ten years served as a member of the Box Elder stake Sunday School board. Raised Locally Slyvia Petersen Glover was born June 9, 1897, to Peter Jorgen and Ellen Larsen Petersen. She attended and graduated from Box Elder High school in 1916 and spent one year at the University of Utah where she received a teachers certificate and taught school for five years at Central School Elder stake Relief Society t board. j ,y r In a civic Capacity she has ' been a member of the American Legion auxiliary and will soon become an honorary member of Civic Improvement club, in which organization she has served in many social and official capacities. Howard of Brigham City recently returned from a k delightful trip to Scandinavia, where the doctor took part in a medical seminar and the couple mixed business with pleasure in touring the countries where meetings were held. in They first arrived Stockholm, then traveled to Helsinki and on to Copenhagen for the seminar series. During their spare time they took guided tours of the countires and host cities and had an enjoyable European visit. One of the highlights of . Dr. and Rasmussen two-wee- the trip was finding a message in their hotel room in Stockholm to call Sanne Wikstrom, who was an American Field Service student at Box Elder High school several years ago. He now works near Stockholm and the Rasmussens enjoyed meeting' him for dinner and an evening of visiting. He sent greetings to his many friends in the local area, and particularly to the Les Dunn family with whom he made his home while attending the local high school. The Rasmussens had also sent work to Visa Lautimatii of Finland, an AFS student who lived with the Ken Sleigh family in Brigham City, that they would be in Helsinki. However, he is enrolled in his fifth year of medical school and was studying in France and could not meet with them. They cordially invite friends and relatives to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Glover were married in the Salt Lake LDS temple on June 14, 1922. One week later, together with Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Christensen of Brigham City and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Browning of Ogden, they left to fulfill a two year mission for the LDS church in Japan.
