It may have been the last race but there were still a few firsts at the Honda Hills track. Spectators tuned in to 106.3 FM to hear the Mark Christiansen announcer, from 94.3 XRQ. Hearing the announcements over the radio made it easier for spectators to know which race they were watching and who was winning it. Racers also gained an advantage from the radio, as they could easily hear when their calls were to be on deck and on the starting line. Pee wee racers also experienced a first, as the racers in the Pee Wee Heads Up and Stock 8 classes rode on the big track instead of the pee wee track. The Pee Wee Stock 6 class remained on the pee wee track. Nearly everyone was a winner at the race, as UBMA had enough trophies to hand out through 8th place in each of the 7 12-1- 5: 1: 6-- 8: 9-- Max Bbozner - 3rd. Over 25 Pro: Forest Ward - 1st.
