Bluff Stuff Dorothy Nielson by I have some new neighbors. Gail and Phil Mohrmon, formerly of Nebraska, have moved into the house which was owned by Rose and Jack Adams. They are staying at night at the Recapture Lodge until the furniture arrives. That should be next week. I had a very enjoyable visit with her and was glad to hear that she likes Bluff and thinks the people are friendly. Gail comes from a small town, so has no culture shock. Stephanie Pehrson and her children are home again after visiting with her family in Washington. Her father is recovering from heart surgery. Claude and Jack Powell were in town last Sunday. While here, they attended to some business matters and visited with the Clarence Johnsons. They are from New Mexico. The Ed McKelveys have moved to Bloomfield, New Mexico, where they will go into Each year heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases pottery making exclusively. We will miss them, but they should do well in this endeavor. Jeanie McKenzie had an operation on her back for problems left from an old infection. She is doing well and should be out of the hospital soon, but will have to spend much of her time in bed during the next six weeks. I went to Blanding last Sunday to attend sacrament meeting at the Sixth Ward for the welcome home for my grandson Steven Nielson. His mother, Jennielean Matem and family were down from Salt Lake. It was great visiting with Jennielean, my son Teds family, and friends. Louise Berensen from Bluff also attended the meeting. I was invited to Gene and DeVon Hursts for dinner. more than all other diseases according to the American Heart Association. com-'bine- Mark was just Blanding. released from the Branch We would like to presidency. invite the Laws to come back, as they are used to making the trip anyway. We feel very close to the people from Montezuma Creek after joining them for services for a few months while our chapel was being renovated. It seems everyone around got rain but us. Ive suggested we must not be liying right. However, we did get a shower Wednesday night. It cooled things off for our early morning walk. Weather Report Gene, besides being an old friend, was the clerk in my post office for many years. It is always a delight to visit with her. The LDS Branch had planned a farewell party for the McKelveys, but by the time we Northern Electric kill almost one million Americans, or got the night set aside for it, they were gone, so we had it anyway!
