According to advisor Sandy Jensen, the Sunshine Generation will be singing Christmas music at the Salt Palace, site of the Festival of Trees, from 3:30 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. tickets available through branches of Zions Bank. All proceeds from the festival will be used to provide charity care for needy children from throughout the intermountain area at the medical center. The Festival of Trees began in 1971 as a project of Primary Childrens Medical Centers Womens Endowment Board. This is the 20th year of the event. During the previous 19 festivals, more than $5 million has been raised for charity care. Last years Festival of 30. The local group consists of 45 youngsters ages 2 from Orangeville, Castle Dale and Huntington. The national franchise gives youngsters the opportunity to sing, dance and perform. Mrs. Jensen said the local group has performed at several local events and has participated in nearly every local parade.
