Goettge of Orem has been named manager of Technical Services for U.S. Steel's Geneva-Pittsbur- g Works, according to R. W. Raybuck, general manager of the steel firm's Utah and California plants. He succeeds veteran steel engineer Louis E. Ringger who recently retired after more than 34 years of service. Goettge will maintain his offices at the Geneva Plant with responsibilities for providing technical assistance to all operations, service An Appeal For Utah Tech and hire if there were trained workers for their particular needs. There are some students who pick up their general education credits at UTC, then go on to BYU to complete their degree. There are also many students who simply prefer attending UTC because it best fits their needs.
