Gilner, Orem, announce the approaching of their daughter marriage Clark Nancy Lynne to E. Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Russell Hansen of Lindon. Mr. and Mrs. Gale D. Hanks of Salem announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Gaylen to Blake Llewellyn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Llewellyn of Spanish Fork. The couple will be married Sept. 27 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening in the Salem Ward Cultural Hall. The future bride is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School and LDS Seminary. She has attended Utah State University for two The couple will exchange marriage vows Oct. 1 1 in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. A reception will honor them that evening in the Orem 32nd Ward. Miss Gilner graduated from Orem High School and LDS Seminary. In high school she was active in the FHA and GAA. She also graduated from a beauty college. There's a small kitchen near the Fords' second floor bedroom where the President can putter as he wishes. "All he needs is a toaster," said Mrs. Ford. That sounds like minimal equipment. Maybe he should have a fry pan for such things as the bacon. But consider what you can do with a toaster, the regular pop a up style. The President can toast bread, English muffins, corn muffins, frozen waffles, and many of the sweet pastries. Mrs. Ford didn't make clear the type of toaster her husband needed. But if they install, or already have installed, a deluxe toaster-ovethe President can cook just about everything that a small oven will do from baking potatoes to heating frozen TV dinners. And, of course, make toast. I talked with home economists at General Electric on this matter just to help the President if he needs it. For breakfast, for instance, he can prepare frozen waffles and n, sausages, prebutter toast, sprinkle it with cinnamon, if he and the bread pops wishes, forward browned on both sides. Or, he can make shirred eggs with ham or sausage. He can set the appliance to top brown only, making grilled cheese sandwiches or casseroles. And if he wishes to get into more complicated toaster-ove- n cooking, there are recipes for main dishes (Swiss steak or fish fillets), snacks and appetizers (quick pizza, stuffed mushroom caps), and desserts (baked Alaska tarts, spice pound cake ) . If Mrs. Ford wished, she could toast hors d'oeuvre for White House parties. But, as the appliance people said, "We don't think home cooking will be going that far."
