This observation was made by DeLyle Barton, BYU housing director, who has the task of trying to meet students' needs both on campus and off campus. "The commercial and growth in the immediate Provo vicinity in the industrial past two or three years has brought in approximately 4,000 mor single workers who are occupying what normally would be considered student housing," Mr. Barton said. "And with the Situation in Years increase of that work force, there has not been an increase in apartment building in the past' two years to keep up with the demands." The suit had charged that Lt. Roy Hurst, Officer Donald Holmes, Officer Ronald Hughes and former officer Hans now Jacobson, living in Colorado, had conspired to falsify an accident report of the crash which claimed the life of the Huff's daughter over a year ago. The suit alleged that the plaintiff's consititutional rights had been violated, but no specif ic right was identified and the judge dismissed the case. In the accident, George Fritz and Jean Carling were occupants of a car which struck the Huff vehicle. Miss Huff subsequently died of injuries, and automobile homicide charges were filed against Fritz. It was later determined, however, that Miss Carling had been the driver.
