JOYCE vCOSMO' SANDAL TAKES YOU INTO FALL .y) Federated Ladies Clubs Meet - NEPHI The Federated Ladies Clubs of Nephi are now finishing their summer Kensingtons and preparing for the new 1974-7- 5 Club Year. The first event will be the fall Utah-P- age luncheon which will be held Sept. 12. Special guest speaker at this event will be Mrs. Elmer Hitgaard, first vice president of the Federated Women's Clubs of Kirk Wright, council president is general chairman. Others working on the committee are presidents of the various dubs: Mrs. Ray Anderson, Ladies Literary Club; Mrs. Sherrl Ferre, Delphic Club; Mrs. Rex Tolley, Ladies Literary League; Mrs. Ted Chase, 20th Century Club; Mrs. Donald Reid, Nautilus Club. The marriage of Cathy Christensen and Hunter Thomson was solemnized Aug. 16 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After the marriage a wedding breakfast was held at Grandmother's House. A garden reception honored the couple that evening at the home of the bride's parents. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Christensen of Orem, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Curtis F. Gerald and David H. Thomson of San Luis Obispo, Calif. The bridal gown, fashioned by the bride, was of embroidered eyelet featuring long full sleeves with delicate pearl buttons at the cuff, a wide ruffle on the skirt and a yoke. Completing her outfit was a large eyelet hat, detailed with lace and ribbon.
