Not Natives Cedar waxwings are, according to the Utah Fish and Game Department, not generally tame birds, and do not nest in Utah. They do, however, migrate through the state in November and that is how Mrs. Fenworthy came to be a visitor in Provo. The birds are small, like a robin, and are called waxwings because of the red waxy covering on the tip of their wings. The North American species are usually yellow greenish gray with some black around the eyes and white edgea on tne throat. They are not songbirds, but have a lisping quality to their voices. They feed on berries, potato bugs and insects. According to the Encyclopedia HURRY! Provo Burglar - Is Investigated Beneficial life Insurance, 879 North University Aveupe.
