Dan was born 7 on December r 23, 1977 to Harvard and Susan Heath, the sixth son in a family of seven sons and two daughters. He attended Provo public schools and graduated from Timpview High School in 1996. His mission call to the Ukraine in February of 1997 was derailed with his diagnosis of leukemia. He fought years of chemotherapy, experienced a remission, which allowed him to finish his B.S. Degree from BYU in Electronic Engineering. Shortly before graduation, his leukemia returned and he underwent a successful bone marrow transplant in 2003. Dan lived life to the the fullest. He enjoyed playing soccer at Timpview as well as playing in the concert band. He loved camping, fishing and reading all good books. But of all his activities, he most enjoyed being with his family and his many friends. He was the consummate son and brother and loyal friend. His sense of humor, his quick wit, his sense of love, beauty, and truth will be sorely missed and impossible to replace. His remarkable faith and courage amid the many trials he experienced, even in his last months will always be an inspiration and example to his family and to those who knew him. Dan is survived by his parents, brothers; H. Brett (Lavon) Heath of Hamilton, Montana, Jeffrey R. (LaTara) Heath of Springville, Rusty E Heath, Brandon G. Heath of Provo, Shane A. (Heidi) Heath of Grantsville, Nicholas K. (Ashley) Heath of Provo, and sisters; Tiffany A. (Doug) Black of Orem and Brooke N. Heath of Provo. He is also survived by his devoted grandparents Bert and Donna Heath of Orem. He leaves behind nine nieces and nephews; Justin, Alyssa, Tanner, Josh, Taylor, Keslie, Jackson Daniel, Steven and London with another niece expected in March. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and last, but certainly not least, his loyal faithful dog, Binx, who slept by him and watched over him these last four years. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Fred and Mable Graeber of Boise. As a family, we express our appreciation for all that has been said and done in his behalf by so many for so long. Services to honor Dan will be held at the Provo Sharon East Stake Center at 2400 N. 1060 E., Provo on Saturday, February 10th at 12:00 p.m. A viewing will be held Friday evening 5:30-7:3- 0 p.m. at the Ward Chapel.
