Show HOLY ROSARY CHURCH by Connie Mochizuki RELIGION CLASS FIRST GRADUATION TO BE HELD SUNDAY AT COPPERTON Diplomas and certificates will be awarded twenty Bingham High School seniors when the religion class holds its first graduation exercises ex-ercises in the Immaculate Conception Concep-tion Church, Copperton, Sunday evening, May 22, according to Rev. John J. Sullivan, pastor. The service ser-vice will commence at 7:30 p.m. when Rev. Jamea T. Kenny, diocesan dioces-an superintendent of schools and Director of Confraternity of Christian Chris-tian Doctrine will make a presentation presen-tation of special awards, diploma and certificates before mass. Father Kenny will offer mass for the graduates grad-uates following the presentation. Diplomas will be conferred, on the following graduates for having successfully completed at least 3 years of study. They are: Claudia Murano, Jeanette Pino, Pearl Milner, Mil-ner, George Sluga, Adclia Tafoya, Daniel Arritola, Dennis Arritola, John Lopez, Cecelia Giron, Ruby Archuleta, Richard Colleges, Tom Redmond, Vivian Martinez, Helen Archuleta and Dorothy Chacon. Students who will receive certificates cer-tificates for having completed two years of study are: Sara Chavez, Roy Ortega, Lillian Sanchez. Bob Susaeta and Floyd Trujillo. Following mass, and in honor of the graduates and their parents the Immaculate Conception Altar Society Soc-iety will be hosts to a smorgasbord dinner in the church hall. Mrs. Blaine Milner is chairman in charge. A cordial invitation is extended to parishioners, friends and relatives of the seniors to attend the exercises exer-cises Sunday evening. St. Paschal' Alter Society Lists New Officer St. Paschal's Altar Society, Lark, at their meeting held Wednesday evening, May 18, chose Mr. Victor Lopez to head its activities for the coming year. She succeed Mr. Anita Benavidez. Elected to serve with Mr. Lopez were Mr. Pete Garduno, vice president; Mr. Lawrence Howland, ecretary, and Mr. Joe Cruz, treasurer. Father Sullivan Honored With Surprise Birthday Party Dispensing with business for the evening of May 12, Holy Rosary Altar Society honored Father Sullivan Sul-livan with a surprise smorgasbord birthday dinner prepared and donated do-nated by all members. A monetary gift was presented Father Sullivan and also a lovely birthday cake in the form of a cross baked specially for the occasion by Mrs. Bonnie Osoro. Members spent the evening playing Monte Carlo whist.
