Page LEADER-GARLAN- TIMES, March D 31. 1977 Concert Is Slatod Parkinsons Host Dinner By LaDonna Hess Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Parkinson were Mr. and Mrs. Mah-lo- n Kidd of Idaho Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Verd Mortensen and children, Gayleen and Troy, Mrs. Oli Parkinson, all of Rexburg, Idaho, and Mr. Gary Miner. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Orr visited in Idaho Sunday with Mr. Orr's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Covert. Afterwards they went to Wells-vill- e to visit Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Lishman, Mrs. Orr's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marriott attended fast meeting at the Belmont Ward Sunday to see the blessing of their granddaughter, Taylee. Those IIWWll ill fii villi Lyle Holmgren Homecoming Service Set Elder Lyle Holmgren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayno Holmgren of Tremonton, has just returned from service in mission for the London-Sout- h the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Da- y Saints. A homecoming service will be conducted April 3 at 5 p.m. in the Tremonton Fourth Ward. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. While on his mission, Elder Holmgren was appointed a zone leader. attending were Mr. and Mrs. Craig Hansen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Mason and family, the Gordon Taylor family of Brigham and the Paul Hales family. Mr. and Mrs. David Manning and son, Marcel, atten-e- d a birthday party Monday evening for their granddaughter, Michelle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Manning. Mrs. Thomas Harper spent the weekend with her daughMr. and ter and Mrs. Dale Gardner of Ogden. While there she attended a wedding reception for David Coombs. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Jensen enjoyed a visit from their children on Mr. Jensen's birthday. Those that came t ' t visiting was their granddaughter, Susan Also f of Centerville. They had dinner and spent the afternoon together. Susan was leaving the next day for Pittsburgh, Pa. where she is making her new home. Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Jep-pse-n and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Theurer and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hall. They celebrated Betty birthday and enjoyed the afternoon together. Mr. and Mrs. George Kir-bDon and Lorene Kirby of Bountiful, and Reg Kirby of Brigham took an excursion to Evanston, Wyo. Saturday. It was a very enjoyable trip and they visited the places George lived when he was a young boy. On the way home they rode by Bear Lake and through Logan Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy had guests over the weekend. They were Mr. and Mrs. Max Flinders and their children, Layne and Blair, from Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Timothy from Sandy. were BevaLyn Archibald and son, Todd, Rita Christ-ense- n and son, Scott, and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hodges have been in Ogden visiting several friends who were ill. Mr. and Mrs. Hodges visited Mrs. Shirley Rose at the Logan hospital Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Jensen visited Rosalyn Draper Sunday who is in the McKay-De- e hospital. Mrs. GeorgeWorley and children, Tauna and Cale, visited Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dalton Friday. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dalton visited in Ogden with Rulon Sheffer. Their daughter, Kaylyn Hall-ber- g and her daughter, July, were there. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. William Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Dalton enjoyed dinner. Wednesday evening in Logan with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Womack and family. Chad Dalton was there also. Some people are sure they could move mountains if someone would just clear the foothills out of the way. an in conjunction with Utah State University. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
