LEADER-GARLAN- 18. 1976 OBITUARIES Public Notice Notice r, Bonds to be Issued Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Utah Code provisions of Section Annotated, (1953), as amended, that on November 11, 1976, the Board of Trustees of Portage, Box Elder County, Utah, accepted the offer of the United States Farmers Home Administration to purchase up to $17,000 Water Revenue Bonds, Series A, and $20,000 General Obligation Water Bonds Series A of said Municipality at a price of not to exceed $37,000. If less than $37,000 is paid, the Municipality will be obligated to repay only the amount of principal actually paid. The BoardUlso accepted the offer of the Board of Water Resources to purchase up to $17,000 Water Revenue Bonds, Series B, and $20,000 General Obligation Water Bonds, Series B at a price not to exceed $37,000. If less than $37,000 is paid, the Municipality will be obligated to repay only the amount of principal actually paid. Said Bonds, pursuant to a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Municipality adopted on November 11, 1976, are to be issued for the purpose of paying all or part of the cost of the following improvements to the water system of the Municipality: 1982 1983 1984 1985 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 A copy of the Resolution adopted on November 11, .1976, by the Board of Trustees authorizing the issuance and d confirming the sale of the Revenue Bonds and General Obligation Bonds is on file in the office of the Town Clerk of said Municipality in Portage, Utah, where it may be examined during regular business hours of the Clerk from 8:00 a.m. to 5 :00 p.m. for a period of at least thirty (30) days from and after date of the publication of this notice. Mrs. Hirschi was born 78, in Park Valley, a daughter of Erastus William and Eva Aurelia Rose Oct. 10, 1898, Carter. was reared and educated in Park Valley and attended a dress designing school in Salt Lake City. She was married to Albert D. Hirschi on Nov. 28, 1917, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Nov. 25, 1949. She was a member of the Park Valley LDS Ward and had been active in Relief She and served as a Society School teacher. Surviving are one son and four daughters, Dee C. The opening weekend of the general deer hunt is somewhat of a phenomena in itself, but this year the October 23 weekend included a herd of swimming elk. Division of Wildlife Resources Fisheries Biologist, Bryce Nielson, works at Bear Lake in northern Utah. He reports that on Oct. 24 a small group of elk, consisting of 17 cows and calves, were caught near the edge of the lake, their return path to the mountains blocked off by the highway.
