The bride-to-b- e is the daughter of Mrs. Doreen Wells and Mr. and Mrs. D. Dee Hibbert of Pocatello, Idaho. at a reception Senior in Pocatello the evening of the wedding and at an open house at Bowcutt's Reception Center in Tremonton on Dec. 4 from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Miss Hibbert attends Ricks College where she is active in Medicus and is majoring in nursing. The groom attended Weber State and Utah State University. The couple will make their home in Pocatello, Idaho. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Earl Firth of Bothwell. Floyd Carter Fresh Cranberries Open House To Honor Carters The family of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd G. Carter of West Corinne are hosting an open house in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. The event will be held Friday, Nov. 19, at the Comm- - V unity Center, 20 North 3rd -West, Brigham City, Utah, beginning at 7 : 30 p.m. with a program scheduled at 9 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Carter were married November 10, 1926 in the Logan LDS Temple. Following their marriage they lived in Park Valley where Mr. Carter was born, a son of John M. and Roxey Goodliffe Carter. Mrs. Carter, the former Elma Wood, was born in Willard, Utah, the daughter of Ellis and Edith Thorn Mr. and Mrs. Carter and their family moved to Corinne where they have resided since. Mr. Carter was engaged in farming in Park Valley and continued his farming operation buying a farm in West Corinne. He also has been an agent for the Utah Farm Bureau Insurance Co. since 1943. He has been active in the LDS Church, serving in all auxili-- . aries of the church which include, Scout Master, Superintendent of the MIA, Superintendent of the Sunday School, teaching in the various organizations, serving on the High Council and Bishop. At present he is teaching the High Priests Quorum and continues to be a Home Teacher, a position In Freeze One For Later 1941 . Mr. and Mrs. Carter are the parents of six children; five sons and a daughter. Maurice Carter and Mrs. Royal (Elaine) Norman of Corinne, Royce, Rod and John Carter of Clearfield, and Keith Carter of Kays-villThey have 33 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mrs. Carter has served in the LDS Church in all auxiliaries which include, Primary President, MIA Counselor, Junior Sunday School Coordinator, Relief Society Stake Board and as a teacher in all these organizations as well as Sunday School Stake Board Member and visiting teacher. At present she is teaching the Laurel Class and is serving as a visiting teacher in the Relief Society and is Captain of the Fruitvale Camp of the DUP.
