A delicious luncheon was served. for the next meeting to be held Nov. 11 will be Mrs. Barbara King, Mrs. Sylvia Rolley and Mrs. Aloha Gam. The meeting will be held at the King home. Fielding I iriT"ffS Children Collect $140 The members and friends of the Tremonton Community United Methodist Church wish to express their appreciation to the young people and adults who helped make last week's "Trick-or-Trefor UNICEF'' such a success. The young people collected $140 which will be used to provide food and medical throughout the world. Food and You, along with membership blanks for enrollment in the Northern Utah Diabetes Association (which includes national membership, and a subscription to their monthly magazine) will be available in the meeting being held on November 11, at 7 p.m. in the Visual Aids Room, Bear. River High School. . The newest information in learning to identify and control the disease will be discussed by a panel of doctors, dietitians, and registered nurses. Films will also be shown with the newest information available. The public is encouraged to attend to become better informed on the nature and control of this disease. With the numbers of people with diabetes increasing each year, it is hoped that through a membership drive, donations, and memorial funds, as well as other projects that funds can be gained to help with research for the eradication of the disease. A booth will be on display at the new Cache Valley Mall on November 12 and 13, where people can get more information. Further information regarding this local meeting can be had by calling Mrs. Jill Cannon, Tremonton, or Mrs. Margaret Smith of Garland.
