All base military and civilian employees should "show you care" and come out to cheer your favorite teams on to victory. The base officers are challenging the senior and above) to play ranking civilians (GS-13- s an exhibition game on Tuesday at 5 p.m. on the main Softball diamond behind the base '.' gym. The officers team will be led by team captain Brig. Gen. A. Paul Bruno, vice commander, Ogden Air Logistics Center and this year's chairman of the campaign. The civilians will be led by Richard McKenzie, vice chairman of the campaign and deputy director of Maintenance. Confident of their playing ability, the officers will then play a challenge game against the senior ranking enlisted team on Sept. 12 on the same field, at 5 p.m. Leading the enlisted will be CMSgt. James D.Manley, 1881st Communications Squadron. To play on a team, each player will donate $5 to CFC as an entry fee for each game. The winning teams will then give their total proceeds for each game to CFC. Games will be umpired by members of the base gym staff. Refreshments will be available for all participants. So come out and provide moral support for all the bosses, military and civilian, as well as CFC, by showing you care. ,?tr iim n ra i 1 . |
