The bid was awarded to a three-bank three-bank combine of Continental Bank and Trust, of Salt Lake City; Bank of Pleasant Grove and the State Bank of Lehi. Their win ning bid was based on a net interest of $41,635, with a net interest rate of 4.4389. The toal of the bond and interest will amount to $201,637 which will be repaid in ten years. The bid was marked with eight bidders participating, which is unusually large, and all bidders noted that American Fork City was in an excellent financial position. po-sition. Other bids were opened as follows, with Dick Christensen, representing the financial consulting con-sulting firm of Burrows, Smith and Co., conducting the bid opening: open-ing: Hanifen, net interest, $45,-333.60, $45,-333.60, with a net interest rate of 4.83; W.
