Show Second Session Stated Juiy 15 For Swimming Instruction at Am. Fork Pool Registration for the second session at the American Fork Veterans Memorial Pool will be tield this Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m. There will be no tele phone or prior registration and none will be accpeted earlier than the 8 a.m. opening. ' Instruction in the second ses sion will begin July 15 and end August 27. Fee per child will be $6, with race team fee set at $3 per family. Season pass for both Individual and family will be available at one-half rate, $7.50 for individual and $17.50 for a family pass. The pool will be open to public swimming at 3 p.m. each after noon and is also available to groups after 7:30 p.m. for $10 per hour or $12.50 for one and one-half hours. Persons desiring to obtain private lessons or ar range group rental may contact John Hansen, pool manager. In structors are Kathy Diederich, Craig Souman and Bill Evans. All are WSI certified and have had teaching experience. Students must have passed swimmers to take Jr. Life Sav- ENJOYABLE GATHERING Sunday, July 7 was an enjoyable day for Barbara Ann and Robert M. Searle and daughters, Robin and Allison when a large number of family members gathered at th- West Point LDS Second Ward where their tiny new daughter, Angelia was given a name and blessing in the Testimony meet ing by her father. Assisting In the ordinance was E. W. Robbins and Max P. Searle, grandfathers of the little miss, Leslie C. Searle, great grandfather grand-father and the bishop of the ward. . Ulah High School Rodeo Finals Slated in Lehi Arena June 18-20 WELL DRILLING OPERATION MAKES PROGRESS AS FIRST PHASE OF WATER PROJECT BEGINSThe 16 inch well which is the first phase of the $28,050 project is moving well, as workmen work-men keep the drilling rig in operation eight hours a day. ' " The Utah High School Rodeo Finals will be held at the Lehi rodeo arena on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 18, 19 and 20, beginning at 8:00 p.m. The sponsoring organization is the Utah Valley Longhorns Rodeo Ro-deo Club, local high school or ganization. This is an opportunity to see young western cowboys and cowgirls at their best. Everyone is reminded to make plans to attend at-tend and aid in the success of the event. The stock contractor is the Circle J Rodeo Company. Tickets are available from any club member, on the Grand Prize, which will be a prime beef. This will be given away on July 20, at the rodeo. According to Terry Black, president of the "Longhorns" the South Summit Rodeo, held June 14, 15 in Kamas, concluded conclud-ed the working rodeo season in high school rodeo. ABOUT FOLKS YOU KNOW Miss Rosemary Miller of American Fork left by jet plane Monday, July 8, for New London, Lon-don, Connecticut where she will spend her vacation with her sister sis-ter and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Rich (Nancy) Moore. Rich is an instructor in the Coast Guard Academy at New London. He Is presently on a cruise around Puerto Rico. Mrs. Moore recently returned to her home in New London after a ten day vacation in Puerto Rico. The two girls are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Miller of American Fork.
