Dads and Doughnuts gives the male parent the opportunity to spend time with their children by reading to them. Afterwards, the dads and students are given doughnuts to eat. Local ballet company welcomes spring Rocky Muunt.'iin Repertory B;illet invites you to welcome in Spring hy joining them at their exciting Spring Gala. The unique variety of ballets bal-lets are slated for May 3 1st aixl June 1st at Mountain View Hifjh School. World-renown ballet master Mark Lanham will be electrifying the audience in his "Les Clowns Neiirutiques" a last, abstract drama-ballet done with music from the French composer I'oulenc. The neo-classical "Itivorak" by Melissa Stanley, director of the RMRB Junior Company, is unique in its flirtatious style. Kylie Finlinson, Carrie Davis and Jenny Clearwater will dance "Divorak's" lead roles. Audra Mott and Katelyn Sheffield will be spotlighted in the original romant ic I 'as de deux, "Over the Garden Wall" choreographed by Kathleen Sheffield. Company members Heather ('opus, Sara Reach, Jessica Modify and Hilary Fullmer will also be performing in this exciting show. Other work9 include "Child Song," "Morning Butterflies," "Joplin" and "Enya." The traditional and fiery Pas de Deux "Don Quixote" will climax the evening with the male lead role performance of Shanno Otte. He will partner Katelyn Sheffield and Jessica Washburn. 'RMRB's Artistic Director Connie Burton is known for her unique ability to gently bring her dancers to a high level of performance." states Judy Byington, member of the non-profit RMRB Board of Directors. As in "Nutcracker," all dancers who won lead and supporting roles in the Spring Gale reside in Utah County. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m., with a Saturday 2:00 p.m. matinee.
