These two brothers work wonderfully won-derfully together and combine their talents and testimonies to provide you with a very warm, personable, fun, educational, educa-tional, and spiritual experience. experi-ence. They come to us with extensive knowledge and experience expe-rience with tours and travel. Both have directed and been involved in several Church HistoryAmerican Heritage Tours Clark & Ron have also directed, created and organized several tour group-together group-together to the Holy Land. And both have some background and experience with the Hebrew language. Ron Anderson. Director. Ron Anderson has a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern StudiesBiblical Hebrew from the University of Utah. He also has a Bachelors and Masters degree from BYU in Ancient Near Eastern Studies. He has taught in the Church Educational System for 21 years, including two years at BYU and UVSC. He is currently cur-rently teaching at BYU Idaho as a member of the Religion faculty. Ron has had many rare and unique teaching opportunities during his career. Ron spent the summer term of 1998 as an Instructor W I s , : RON ANDERSON at the BYU Jerusalem Center in Israel and, situation allowing, allow-ing, is scheduled to return for the entire 2002 academic year. Ron has had the opportunity opportuni-ty to direct many tours to Israel, Sinai, and Egypt. He -has-tkjne so with BYU Travel Study, BYU Semester Abroad Program, Shalom Tours and Murdock Travel. In 1995 Ron, his wife Jill and their five children had the opportunity to live in Israel for a year and a half while Ron enrolled in the Ulpan where he studyed the Hebrew language extensively. Ron not only has extensive knowledge and experience with the Middle East but with Church History as well. Ron has directed several Church HistoryAmerican Heritage Tours with BYU Travel Study and has spent considerable time researching the Mormon Trail. He spent his most recent summer 120011 visiting and studying the Church History and American Heritage sites with his family. His touring experience combined with his teaching experience will be a tremendous resource to us all as we visit and discover these rich sites together. Clark Anderson, DirectorHost: Clark received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from BYU. He has taught for 10 years in the Church Educatoinal System and is currently the CoordinatorDirector in Casper, Wyoming. Clark and his wife Sheri have six children. chil-dren. Clark comes to us with CLARK ANDERSON extensive experience and knowledge with Tours and travel as well. Clark has had the privelege of visiting the Holy Land on several occas-sions. occas-sions. Twice with the BYU Jerusalem Study Abroad Program, four times as a Tour DirectorHost, once with BYU Travel Study, and once with the entire Anderson family. The past four years Clark has organized, assembled, hosted and directed four tour groups to Israel and Egypt with Shalom Tours. He spent the entire summer of 2000 living in Israel and studying the Hebrew language at a local Ulpan. Clark also has extensive experience with Church History Tours as well. Clark assisted twice in directing and operating a Church HistoryAmerican Heritage Tour with BYU Travel Study. He has also assisted as a directorleader direc-torleader on three different tour groups with a privatly operated tour group Harmony Tours that takes a large youth group annually to the Church History and major American Heritage sites. Clark spent the most recent summer, of 2001 on one such tour.
