Utah and made a grand entrance, weighing in at over nibs, to Thomas and Jessie Goodwill, immigrants from the Brutish Isles He began working at the age of 7. following the death of his father Ivin's life was influenced by WWII, when he enlisted in 1942 at the age of 21. He serv ed 3 y ears on a destroyer, the SS New come. He told stories of the horrible day in Okinawa when his ship was hit 7 times by Kamikazes'! He was very fortunate fortu-nate to have survived. Ivin received an honorable discharge fr his bravery' and service. While on his final leave, Ivin met his sweetheart. Trieste Pete-as her friends affectionately affectionate-ly called her, at a popular ice cream parlor in Salt Lake City. They fell in love and were married mar-ried a vear later. By "i960, Ivin and Pete and their four children had decided to venture out of Utah to the West Coast To her childrens delight, they moved to Anaheim, and bought a home with a swimming swim-ming pool, just a mile from Disneyland, and 5 miles from the beach. The family had a great time in California for the next 10 years, then returned to Utah, w here they remain today, surrounded by wonderful friends and family. Ivin retired at age 60. After his retirement, he and Trieste owned Joe Veras Mexican Restaurant, and Trieste has operated it for the past 21 years. We will dearly miss our sweet dad and husband Funeral services were held Friday. A red 1996 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from where it was parked in the area of 1200 W. . 400 S. The car was reported- lir and rm kpvs were in t. it. Two speakers and a day planner were stolen from a locked ear parked in the area of 800 E. 1300 S. The drivers door window was smashed out to gain entry. An unlocked parked car was entered and a gym bag containing over 275 CD's were stolen in the area of 800 S. 600 W. "A 1995 black Chevy Camaro was stolen from where it was parked in front of the Pizza Hut Delivery store at 836 N. State. The car belonged to a delivery person who had run into the store and left his keys in the vehicle. A tool box containing about $1200 worth of tools was stolen from the bed of a pickup truck while parked in the area of 600 N. Main. Officers misdemeanor cited a 56 year old man of Orem, after he side-swiped a 2001 Honda Accord driven by a Lindon Woman at 200 N. State at about 2:00 P.M. The man was driving a green Ford pickup pick-up at the time. After the accident, acci-dent, he allegedly slowed down and then took off. No one was hurt in the incident. A county-wide county-wide description of his truck was given out. He ended up calling police about an hour after the accident and turned himself in. He said he panicked. pan-icked. He was cited for not having insurance on his truck, and for leaving the scene of an accident. The 2001 Accord suffered suf-fered about $8000 in damages.
