BARGER Times Writer The Golden Corral, a family fami-ly buffet restaurant in Orem, will be adding a new option to its 160-item menu. By the end of January, seniors and others will be able to order the all-you-can-eat great steak buffet. The new buffet will feature charbroiled steak, as well as 10 other kinds of meat, which will vary from day to day. Selections will include shrimp, fish and other dining options. The restaurant, which has been serving Utahns for seven years, fulfills ful-fills this goal through its various var-ious dining options and price discounts. Owned and operated by Bryan and Kalene Mathews and co-owned by Keith and Scott Swain, Kalene's father and brother, the assisted living liv-ing facility draws on its family-owned status to create a personal atmosphere. Its motto, "Come home to Hearthstone," portrays the idea that the facility should be a comfortable home for residents, not just a place to live. It is located in a Spanish Fork residential area with a great view of the Wasatch Mountains. The Mathews encourage residents resi-dents to bring their own furniture fur-niture if they wish.
