Unlike overall Utah results, none of the Alpine scores for grades 5, 8 and 11 are lower than the U.S. average. Each fall, Alpine district measures mea-sures the reading, math, language arts, science and social studies achievement of students grades three through nine and 11. None of the 1999 Stanford Total Battery scores in these eight grades have declined since it was first administered admin-istered in 1997 and five grades have increased as much as four percentile. Teachers throughout the district dis-trict carefully analyze Stanford school scores in order to further increase student achievement that already surpasses both Utah and the U.S. Alpine superintendent, Dr. Steven C. Baugh, said, "The 1999 Stanford scores are additional evidence that the diligent efforts of students and their supportive parents, teachers and administrators administra-tors from kindergarten through high school make a measurable difference in student achievement." achieve-ment." Ring in the Christmas season at Little London Dinner Theatre Join us for a journey back to the beginnings of Christmas as you enjoy an elegant holiday feast followed by an uplifting evening of music featuring an original script written by Marvin Payne. The Little London Christmas Christ-mas show is sure to become a traditional tra-ditional part of everyone's Christmas Christ-mas Season.
