Summers is scheduled to perform per-form on June 25 at 7 p.m. He has won several magic contests con-tests and is also a member of the Nor th American Association of Ventriloquists. Ven-triloquists. 2i A resident of Orem, Summers has performed in Las Vegas, has toured Europe and Great Britain, toured Canada and the Northwestern United States and Australia. Summers Sum-mers has also performed on television. Scera Cultural Arts Program Slates Two-week Day Camps The Scera Cultural Arts Program announces a unique opportunity oppor-tunity for the young people in Orem: a day camp immersion in the cultural arts and physical development areas. SCERA has scheduled three two-week long day camps from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for four days, Monday Mon-day through Thursday each week. The program will provide your child with classes in art, drama, music, dance, sports activities, swimming and a movie. The fun-filled day camp is designed to enhance and stimulate the cultural arts and to help build your child's self esteem. The staff selected for this day camp are all certified teachers and professionals in their field. Jim Campbell is an art teacher at Timp- view High School. Jim has done many workshops throughout the state for the Utah Education Association. Beti Trauth, drama teacher at Cardon Lee School, has taught drama for several years. Gene Larson will direct the Scera Boys Choir. He has sung with the Utah Symphony. Steve Green has been a teacher and recreation leader for eight years in the Provo School District. Dennis Cobia is an educator and director of the Scera Clogging Program. He will be over the children's dance program at camp. Enroll now for this exciting opportunity. op-portunity.
