Julie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Arrowsmith of Orem. She graduated from Orem High and LDS Seminary. She attended the Utah Technical College and is now working in Logan as an ' Ron is the son of Mr. t Mrs. Wayne I $uist of Logan. He iuated from Logan High School where he participated in football, basketball and baseball. Ron graduated from the LDS , Seminary. He served a mission in Austrailia. He is presently employed in Logan. The maid of honor will be Lorraine Loveless. Bridesmaids Will include Michell Condie, Tammy Capner and Evelyn Jones. Friends are invited to the family home at 133 East 800 South, Orem on Saturday, May 1, 1982 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.m. , Mrs. Pierce was born May 1, 1902 in Escalante, Garfield County, Utah, the 6th child of John and Margaret Leah Harris Alvey. the family moved to Vermillion Sevier County, Utah in June 1908. She attended school in Vermillion and Sigurd. Her formal education was ended at the death of her mother to assist her father in the care of her two younger sisters and 'one younger brother. She married Wilford Pierce November 17,1919 in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah, the family moved to Orem in June 1942. Mrs. Pierce has been active in the LDS Church all her life. In Sigurd and Vermillion, she was a teacher in the Sunday School and Primary and began her 60 year career as a Visiting Teacher for the Relief Society. Since moving to Orem she has served as 2nd Councilor in the Relief Society, as Relief Society Magazine Representative for 6 years, taught Sunday School.
