Show hucksters Compete At XY' Field Day After meeting . uc u and field prepsters in the inter-mountain inter-mountain area last Saturday at the BYU Invitational where they tied with Payson for fourth place, the Orem High Golden Tigers were back with more familiar faces yesterday at Lehi for the Northern Division meet. Four from each event there qualified for the Region Four track meet next Thursday at the BYU oval. The date of the region meet was moved up from Friday because of scheduling problems. From the region meet, only three from each event will go to state. Kevin Johansen, senior and outstanding runner for the Tigers, Ti-gers, won the only first place for Orem at the BYU Invitational Invitation-al as he looked powerful in winning win-ning the 220-yard dash. He was expected to take the 440 also, but it was rearranged on the schedule so that the two races were back to back. He ran it anyway, coming in fourth behind a fresh Gary Weight of Payson whom Kevin had defeated in the same race during a triangular tri-angular meet. (See results below.) be-low.) In a triangular meet last Wednesday, Wed-nesday, during Orem's Spring Sports Field Day, the Tiger Ti-ger tracksters made the day a complete sweep by winning with a score of 108 12, while Provo scored 43, and Lehi 6 12. Orem took every first place in that meet except the high jump and Terry Casper of Provo won that with a 6-2 effort. intl ANNUAL INVITATION TACK FIELD MEET SHOT PUT 1.
