' yP Orem-Geneva Times Thursday, May 16, 1968 Key Club Installs 1968-69 Officers The 1968-69 Orem Key Club president was officially installed at the first annual Honor Appreciation Ap-preciation Banquet for Division I of the Utah-Idaho District. The banquet was under the direction of Bruce Brown, Orem, past Lt. Gov. for Division I and Jay Miller, Provo, Lt. Governor for 1968-69.Theeventwas sponsored by the Orem High Key Club. Included In-cluded in Division I are Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, Provo Springville, Spanish Fork and Uinta. Pleasant Grove and Provo and Spanish Fork clubs attended the meeting. meet-ing. Tribute was paid to past president, presi-dent, Jesse Loveless, who was awarded a plaque in recognition of his outstanding service. Speaker at the banquet was Swen Nielsen, chief of security police at Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. He spoke on "Understanding "Under-standing through Involvement and touched on our involvement in Vietnam, or involvement in state and local governments and finally in the area of riots and urban problems. Dedicating themselves to service ser-vice the officers are seeking projects pro-jects which will benefit the school and community. Future projects include: a directory of rooms and teachers with a map of room locations for the high school foyer, foy-er, a cover for the scoreboard on the football field and paint ing of the bleachers.
