Every resident mother received receiv-ed a lovely after-bath powder as a gift from the administration and council The Versatonesi provided entertaining en-tertaining musical numbers. Members of the singing group are Cleo Webb, Nadine Anderson, Donna Richards, RanaeHepworth and Willis Hepworth. Humorous jokes and riddles were given by Bret and Todd Harris. The pledge of allegiance was led by Kathy Harris. Committee members in charge of the party were Edith Madsen, Unita Hatch, Lydia Howells, Millie Mil-lie Edmunds, Mrs. Joe Warner and Patricia Harris. Reception to Honor Retiring Teacher A reception in honor of Elda Jackson, who retires this year after thirty-seven years of teaching, teach-ing, will be held in theWestmore School Library at 1150 South Main Street, Orem, on Tuesday, May 21, from 8 to 10 p.m. Mrs. Jackson was born in Vernal, Ver-nal, Utah, and began her teaching career there after receiving her normal certificate from the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. It was while teaching in Vernal that she met and married Victor L.Jackson, L.Jack-son, one of the school principals in the district. POTATO GREEN BEAN SALAD 2 pounds potatoes 1 pound fresh green beans 2 tablespoons salad oil . 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon fresh minced onion 1 teaspoon salt Ve teaspoon pepper Mayonnaise Cook washed unpeeled potatoes in small amount .boiling salted water in covered pan until just tender. Drain and cool. Cut green beans into 1-inch pieces; cook, covered, in small amount pf boiling salted water until tender. Drain and cool. Peel potatoes; cut in 4-inch cubes; combine with green be.ans in large bowl. Combine salad oil, lemon juice, onion, skit and pepper; toss gently with vegetables. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve with mayonnaise. She also served for 21 years on stake MIA boards and fifteen years on Stake Sunday School boards.
