Needlecraf t News CP by Nany Baxter ONE LITTLE, TWO LITTLE, THREE LITTLE INDIANS . . . standing firmly on their own two feet and ready to "whoop it up" the minute your child sounds the alarm. Whether it be a game of cowboys and indians or follow the leader, your children will get hours of pleasure with these fun-loving "injun" bean bags. REMEMBER THE OLD-FASHIONED BEAN BAG? Not very interesting or pleasing to the eye, a bean bag was just something to toss around the room in your spare time, use as a base for ash trays or stick on the window sill as a decorative piece. Today, a bean bag can be fun and interesting with colorful fabrics and some creative ideas. All that is needed to make this indian bean bag is yard of orange sail-ctoth, sail-ctoth, a sock for his head, eight yards of black knitting knit-ting worsted for the hair and "BOILTEX" Rick Rack, two packages medium size, red and brown; and one package baby size yellow. Then stuff him with three pounds of pea beans. MAKE AN ENTIRE TRIBE Since these little injuns are so easy to do, make an entire tribe in gaily colored outfits and then watch out-they're marching on to glory, led by your child!
