Utah residents can conveniently purchase the special passes and ticket packages online at www.sun-dance.orglocals www.sun-dance.orglocals beginning Oct. 14. Envelopes must be postmarked no earlier than Friday, Oct. 11. All pass or ticket-package buyers must provide a valid Utah driver's license when picking up their packages. pack-ages. The "Party Enthusiast Package" costs $3(K) and includes two "Salt Lake City Opening Night .-Screening" and "Gala" tickets, two ?'Ogden Film Festival Celebration" tickets, four "Evening Party Celebration" tickets, two "Premiere Screening" tickets (in addition to Opening Night), 10 regular reg-ular screenings and panel discussions, discus-sions, and access to the Filmmaker LodgeHouse of Docs and the Sundance Digital Center. The "Film Lovers Package" costs $225 and features 14 regular screenings and panel discussions at any film festival venue and access to the Filmmaker LodgeHouse of Docs and the Sundance Digital Center. SLAC kicks oflF with Trankincense The Salt Lake Acting Company's "New Flay Sounding Scries" begins its 2(K)2-2(K)3 season with a reading of a new play by John Rafter Lee, "Frankincense." The play will be read Monday, Oct, 14, at 7:30 p.m. with a discussion with the playwright immediately following the reading, which is free to the public thanks to American Express and Salt Lake. County's Zoo, Arts, and Parks Program. "Frankincense" is a complex modern American fable of the marketplace, mar-ketplace, greed, revenge. Middle Eastern mysteries and a priceless European bank note that changes the fate of all who come in contact with it. David Mong. SLAC's literary manager, will direct the reading. The cast includes Joe Crnich, Teri Cowan. Brien Jones, Paul Kiernan, Tony Larimer, Irish Peterson and Klaus Rathke. Mike Dorrell is SLAC's dramaturg.
