City Court The following people had court appearances scheduled on Tuesday, June 27 in front of Judge Robert Hilder in Park City's 3rd District Court: The court issued a $2,500 warrant war-rant for the arrest of Stewart E. Kelley. 24, of Sandy after he failed to appear for an arraignment arraign-ment for a driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs charge, which is a class B misdemeanor. misde-meanor. The charge followed a violation on June 17. William M. Lettig. 48, of Marion pleaded guilty to a charge of soliciting without a license, a class B misdemeanor. The court fined Lettig $50, placed him on probation for six months and gave him a five-day suspended jail sentence. The violation vio-lation occurred cn June 19 in Deer Valley. Derek Lynn Mullikin. 21, of Sandy pleaded guilty to a disorderly disor-derly conduct charge, a class B misdemeanor. He was fined $200, was given a 10-day suspended jail sentence and was placed on probation pro-bation for six months. Mullikin sentence followed an incident on June 18 on the 600 block of Main Street. - Edward Patterson of Park City pleaded guilty to allowing a dog to attack a person or another animal. Patterson was fined $250, of which $200 was suspended, was placed on probation for six months and was ordered to pay restitution. The incident occurred on June 10 on the 100 block of Main Street. The court dismissed a simple -assault charge against Ronald T. Patterson, 40, of Park City, which is a class B misdemeanor. Patterson, though, is being extradited extra-dited to California in order to complete a jail sentence for violating vio-lating a parole order. Patterson left California, which was a violation viola-tion of his parole. The simple-assault simple-assault charge followed an incident inci-dent on June 17 on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive. During a pretrial conference., Arternio Perez, 19, of Park City pleaded guilty to a charge of never obtaining a Utah driver's license. He was fined $82 and placed on probation for six months. Perez also was ordered not to drive until he obtains a proper driver's license, registration registra-tion and valid car insurance. The court dismissed a charge of operating oper-ating a vehicle without insurance. The charges stemmed from an incident on Oct. 6, 1999 at the intersection of Prospector Avenue and Sidewinder drive. In another pretrial conference, confer-ence, Perez pleaded guilty to a charge of driving with a denied license and having a vehicle in unsafe condition, which are both class C misdemeanors. Ke was fined $47. The second set of charges stemmed from an incident inci-dent on Jan. 1 at the intersection of Park Avenue and 14th Street. Adam K. Ross, 2.2, of Sandy pleaded guilty to an intoxication charge, which is a class C misdemeanor. misde-meanor. He was ordered to complete com-plete an alcohol-awareness course by Oct. 27 and provide proof to the court. The charge followed an incident on the 400 block of Main Street on June 18. The court dismissed two disorderly disor-derly conduct charges. Tracy Salberg, 48, of Park City pleaded guilty to a charge of failing fail-ing to control a dog, which is a class B misdemeanor. She was fined $25. The charge stemmed from an incident on June 6 on the 2400 block of Meadows Drive. During a law and motion hearing, hear-ing, Ryan D. Lee, 27., of Salt Lake City pleaded no contest to a charge of illegal possession or use of a controlled substance, which is a class B misdemeanor. The plea will be held in abey ance for one year. He was; ordered to pay $200 in court costs, was placed on probation for one year, was given a six-month suspended jail sentence and was ordered to complete a substance-abuse class. Lee pleaded guilty to a class C misdemeanor charge of driving without a vehicle registration. regis-tration. He was fined $47 for the registration charge but the court will suspend the fine if Lee presents pres-ents a proper registration. During a pretrial conference. Kathy Dopp of Park City pleaded guilty to a violation of the building build-ing and housing uniform code standard. The plea will be held for one year and Dopp was ordered to comply with the codes, pay $200 in court costs, was placed on probation for one year and was ordered to remove kitchen cabinets within 30 days. The court dismissed a violation of the. . Park City. , Land Management Code and a charge of doing business without a license. Jalali H. Hartman, 24, of Midway pleaded guilty to an intoxication charge. The plea, though, will be held in abeyance. Hartman was placed on probation proba-tion for six months, was ordered to pay $100 in court costs and was ordered to complete an anger-management anger-management and substance-abuse substance-abuse courses. The court dismissed dis-missed a disorderly conduct charge and a charge of threatening threaten-ing a life or property. David Mareno Perez, 19, of Park City pleaded guilty to charges of illegal use or possession posses-sion of a controlled substance, never obtaining a driver's license and operating a vehicle without insurance. Perez also pleaded no contest to a charge of unlawfully detaining a person. That plea will be held in abeyance for one year. Perez received 60-day concurrent concur-rent jail sentences for each. Fifty-five Fifty-five days of each sentence were suspended and another five days were credited for time served. Perez also was ordered to pay $500 in fines, was placed on probation pro-bation for one year, was ordered to complete a substance-abuse class and must have one clean urine test.
