"I based the 'Prime Suspect 3' I story on a real life case I read about ' in the newspapers," La Plante said. "It was about a man who was r charged and arrested for abusing kids. He was given five years for 't molesting them, beating them, and having sexual intercourse. He came out-and started all over again." In conducting research for the ; series, La Plante went into some of . London's darkest-and saddest- corners. She met with victims of the rent-boy scene, male AIDS sufferers, one as young as 12; she talked to Vice Squad officers who ' no longer flinch at the : 1 pornographic filth they see day in and day out; and she listened to the . testimonies of abused children, many of whom have never seen their perpetrators brought to justice. ; iryor We'i s're open I elCheeiO ai Southwestern Grill 649-0883 255 Main St. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM B I L 2: SI M I M?
