Here is what her fourth grade team has to say about her: "Cathy has been a member of our fourth grade team for four years. She has taught fifth grade, fourth grade and first grade. She is married to another fourth grade teacher, Brad Condie, and they have four children. 'She was really meant to teach Fourth grade! In the last four years, she has had a major inf luence on our team with her love of the arts. She has taught us how to use dance, visual arts and even drama in our classrooms. She has even managed to get us on stage in front of a hundred hun-dred parents to teach the line dance, Achy Breaky Heart!" Another teacher says, "Cathy has impressed us' with her leadership. She is the one that will make sure everything gets done. She continually tries to be a better teacher and draws from everyone's strengths to add into her own classroom. She has a deep love for her students and spends many hours of her own time and money to prepare interesting and exciting lessons for them. Cathy loves to learn and expand her knowledge of different subject areas even if it is out of her comfort com-fort zone." A final teacher adds, "Cathy's sense of humor and penchant for practical jokes are legend among faculty members, many have been happy recipients recipi-ents of her clever attention! atten-tion! She is an avid music fan especially Styx and their lead singer Tommy 1 Shaw. After retirement, she plans to go on the road as a full-time Styx groupie. We love and appreciate Cathy for all that she contributes con-tributes to our team, but more importantly for the sweet friendship we have developed with her."
